The service
AS 4084:2023 audits across Greater Brisbane
We perform independent AS 4084 compliance audits in Brisbane and across the wider Southeast Queensland region — from the Port of Brisbane import depots through to cold-storage facilities at Yatala and dry-goods DCs at Acacia Ridge. Every audit covers the full installation (not a 10% sample), is delivered by a competent person with documented AS 4084:2023 training, and lands in your inbox as a RAG-rated report within five business days.

What a Brisbane AS 4084 audit looks like
The on-site inspection runs to a documented checklist: every upright is visually scanned, every Amber and Red finding is measured against AS 4084:2023 tolerances, beam connectors are physically tested, baseplates and anchors are checked, and bracing integrity is confirmed. Photos are taken of every defect with a tape measure in shot, and the bay reference is logged for the report.
- Site briefing and PPE confirmation
- Visual scan of all racking
- Measurement of all damaged components
- Beam connector and locking pin check
- Baseplate and anchor inspection
- Bracing and frame check

Why Brisbane is different
Local conditions to factor in
Brisbane operators face a handful of regional realities that other capitals don't. Tropical humidity accelerates corrosion at coastal sites near the Port and Redlands. The SEQ summer storm season delivers occasional roof leaks that drip onto upper beams. And the rapid growth of distribution along the M1 corridor means many sites are running newer racking at very high cycle counts. Each of these factors changes what we look for during the audit.
