Local logistics
Sydney metro logistics quirks
- Out-of-hours loading permits — varies by LGA and street class.
- Truck length restrictions in inner suburbs (Marrickville, Alexandria).
- B-double access constraints west of the M7.
- Parking suspension permits for cranes and EWPs.
- WHS-required exclusion zones during install.
- Building manager sign-off in multi-tenant industrial estates.

Pre-move audit
What the pre-move audit catches
Every component is RAG-rated before it leaves the old site. Anything Amber or Red is replaced rather than relocated — moving damaged steel doubles the cost and creates a compliance gap at the new site.
Re-certification
Why the new site needs new certification
Slabs differ. Forklift fleets differ. Beam configurations often change to suit the new layout. The original install certificate doesn't transfer — AS 4084:2023 requires a new sign-off at the destination, with new load notices reflecting the as-built configuration.
