The service
AS 4084:2023 audits across Greater Sydney
We deliver independent AS 4084 compliance audits in Sydney and across Greater NSW — from high-velocity 3PLs along the M7 through to cold-storage facilities in Eastern Creek and bonded warehouses near the Port at Botany. Every audit is performed by a competent person with documented AS 4084:2023 training, covers the full installation, and is delivered as a RAG-rated photographic report within five business days.

What a Sydney AS 4084 audit looks like
The on-site inspection follows a documented checklist — visual scan of every bay, millimetre-accurate measurement of every Amber and Red component, beam-connector test, baseplate and anchor check, bracing integrity, and load-notice verification. Damaged components are photographed with a tape measure in shot, bay references logged and the worst-rated bays flagged for immediate stock isolation before we leave site.
- Site briefing and PPE confirmation
- Visual scan of all racking
- Measurement of damaged uprights against AS 4084 tolerances
- Beam connector and locking pin check
- Baseplate and anchor inspection
- Bracing and frame check
- Load notice verification
- Same-day verbal report on Red findings before we leave
Why Sydney is different
Local conditions to factor in
Sydney's logistics belt has the highest forklift cycle count of any state in Australia. Western Sydney 3PLs in particular drive more impact damage per quarter than most other capital cities see in a year. Coastal sites near Botany and the Northern Beaches face salt-air corrosion. And the rapid rollout of high-bay narrow-aisle racking across new DCs means more sites need engineered repair kits rather than off-the-shelf swaps. Each of those factors changes the audit emphasis.
